The Release Project

About a week ago, I was included on a list of people contacted by an Executive Producer/Director of 3 Ring Circus. He’s looking for Drama, Thriller film scripts; I submitted the synopsis/logline for two of my own. Of course, I wanted to find out more about the company before I sent my work, so I looked at their profile and previous work. One of their short films, entitled The Release caught my attention. I decided to watch it.

Blown away. I loved the cast, the story, how it was presented. Awesome. I wanted to share it with you all because I feel projects like this need as much exposure as they can get.

I’m not sure if my work will be chosen. There are a lot of good screenwriters out there. At least they will read about the concepts of my story, what I have in mind.

If you like the short film as much as I do, please continue to share it with your network. Also, if you have any thoughts you’d like to share, leave a comment below.

Thanks so much.

  1. Amazing and all the very best to you 🙂

  2. Good Luck to you Eric, I enjoy watching short films, this was very well shot and acting.

  3. One more idea struck me, it’s a shame that such a powerful man couldn’t go back and fix the Dad first so the child never went through the problem.

    • Oh my goodness, Charlotte, you raise the point that most people do. And I can’t answer in a short sentence. But it usually goes something like: “if God loves us so much, why doesn’t He stop horribly things like this from happening to us?” Years ago, I had the same question and went searching for the answer. I’ll have to organize my findings and post them in my next blog.

      Take care.
