Shattered dreams. Broken promises. Wasted time. Failed life. Everything taken away. Nothing to leave behind. And what I do carry…only adds to the burden that awaits me. I am left…empty.
I like the artistry, words and image. I want to click “like” but don’t want you to think I like the feeling portrayed. Therefor, I will leave a comment with fingers crossed you are not empty but actually filled with hope towards the next move in your journey.
I actually shot this scene on Friday the 13th, March 2015. I guess you can tell I wasn’t having a grand day. However, when I look back at my photography over the years, some of the darkest moments bring out the greatest inspiration. Thank you. By the way, it’s completely alight to “Like” this post, especially since I’m keeping track of which images receive the most “Like”s.
A good photographer can use light and a situation to portray a feeling. Your written words to help explain the picture, story, match up too well with the image.
I did click like and will do from now on for the fantastic artwork you share.
I am new to taking my own photos and I’m enjoying the inspiration of your great blog! I too enjoy monochrome best but I can’t resist the filters these days. It’s fun to experiment.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
And I hope you are peaceful along your new path. 🙂
