Have you visited my InstaGram page? This is my 250th Gram.🎉 Woohoo!🎉 Many of you, I’ve never met personally. Hence, a self-portrait taken earlier this year. Yes, I’m the culprit.☺ Testing the lighting equipment I’d purchased in this shot.
I am preparing some more artwork to share. Quite a few of them are scenes that were forgotten in the Archives.
As for writing, I recently completed a feature-length screenplay entitled, “Rivals” and sent a short story to my Editor entitled, “Will Violence be Our End?” The story was approved today and should be published soon. I’ll share the link when I have it.
Finally, a few weeks ago, I accepted a job offer. Today, I passed my final standard test for being Certified to teach foreign students the English language. Six tests in all. Now, I have to pass three Teacher Assessment tasks to finish and receive my Certification. I have run into a couple of bumps in the road with paperwork since I would be relocated to Beijing, China for one year. Hopefully, I can get passed these obstacles this week.
Thank You!💛💙everyone for your encouragement over this rather rocky time in my life. I never thought I’d have the opportunity to work overseas and didn’t expect to be considered for this job when I applied. But they called, a few Skype interviews later, here I am. Giving it a try. Yet, I have to get all of my paperwork approved, otherwise, I can’t go.
If all works out, I will be leaving at the beginning of November. Again, the contract is for a year. Afterwards, I may travel more, if I can. Though, I’d like to settle down in Southern California once the overseas adventure is completed. I am nervous. I am excited. I am scared. I am thinking of all the cool photographs I can capture. I am sad because I’m leaving loved ones behind. My emotions are all over the place.
However, I will use the funds to market my artwork and promote my writing, books, etc. I’ve gotten quite a few offers to do so, including interviews on podcasts. I simply need the finances to take advantage of these opportunities.
Ultimately, I don’t know how it feels to live outside of the U.S. However, I haven’t found the right opportunity here, so…there’s a whole world beyond here. I’ll see how it goes. Italy. I’d love to visit Italy. Pizza all around! The more Italian food, the better.
