If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I spent my weekend photographing and editing photos for the 2017 Jacksonville International Auto Show. After a few hours of walking around, jumping in & out of cars, SUVs, and jeeps…I was tired.
This is my second time attending the Event and all of the dealerships seemed to occupy the same spaces as in 2014. I must say, there were more vehicles that represented their latest models this weekend. I decided to create up my own Awards to make the editing process more fun. When you have to sift through over 300 photographs, it can get tedious. 🙂
Shot of the Day
Acura had another great showing with the best natural lighting by far compared to the other dealerships. It makes my job easier. This model screamed for attention, not only because it was in the front of the pack, but it’s red color matched so well with the carpet.
Shut Up & Drive
Practically hiding all the way to the rear of the area was the NSX. Mind you, the public could get behind the wheel of most of the cars at the Event. However, a few of them like the NSX were under the No Touchy Category. 🙂 You can see why. Just look at it. Keys. Are the keys anywhere around?
On the Rise
Ladies & Gentlemen, this is a Buick. 20-inch wheels. Red. Convertible. It Spakles! 🙂 Yes, I did sit in this one. It’s a bit long for my taste; I don’t need this much car. However, it’s a nice combination of luxury and sporty flare. Like to see the inside?
I was even more impressed with this next car…
She’s a nice lady, but she wouldn’t let me keep it. haha. I sat behind the wheel and thought: This Is NiCe. I absolutely love the interior color with the dark blue exterior.
If I ever purchased a Buick, this would be the one. The competition in the industry is getting crowded. Moving on…
Best Overall Presentation
I’ve always wanted GMC to add a bit of spice to their vehicles. Usually, they seem to be shaped like a box or a rectangle. So, when I saw the Acadia Denali in this color on the wood floor with the Lighting: That’s how you do it. 🙂 Now, again, too big for my taste. However, if you don’t mind paying the excess money in gas that you’re going to need to cruise this baby around town, by all means, have at it.
Real beauty is found on the inside. Especially because this turned out to be my best shot of an interior space. Most of the time, the Lighting was too dim for a proper exposure. 😦 You guys have probably also noticed my editing style fluctuates. Some of them a highly-stylized while other shots (like this interior) are traditionally captured. If this were a client’s project, I would have all of the photographs in one style. Would you like to see the Escalade’s exterior?
Well, look at the bright side: If you can afford to purchase this SUV, you can afford to fill it up with gas every time it needs it (which is gonna be a lot if you drive often). My gosh, Cadillac, this is Massive. I have seen them on the road quite often. Again, too much for my taste…
The Most Fun
I was mulling around as I headed towards the Exit when I ended up right back where I started. The MINIs are near the Entrance of the Event. I love this color on the interior & here’s the exterior…
If you prefer a hood on the MINI, this is the interior of that model…
Thank you gals & guys for viewing. This was fun.
